Alex Ix

Alex has been a resident of Charlottesville for the past 18 years. Having worked in his family’s textile company, Frank Ix and Sons for over 25 years, Alex comes to Roy Wheeler with an array of business experience in marketing, corporate development, finance, and purchasing. He honed his people skills while working at every level of the textile industry in Manhattan’s Garment Center and the company’s eventual headquarters in Charlottesville.

Alex’s interest in real estate began in the early 1980’s when he took a sabbatical from the textile world to work for the family’s security company in New Jersey. His involvement in real estate development and management projects in Florida, Colorado, Vermont, and New Jersey grew into a deep appreciation for the values of property ownership. As a Manhattan and Charlottesville property owner, he has made several successful transactions over the past 20 years.

Outside of his work interests, Alex avidly hikes, skis, and plays tennis. A regular volunteer for LIve Arts Theater, he is also involved in several neighborhood organizations.

He is looking forward to meeting the needs and goals of both buyers and sellers; Alex seeks to make the best decisions for clients regarding their desires and dreams. Total client satisfaction is his first priority.
