My partner and I were new to Charlottesville and looking for a new home. We had a specific budget in mind and were referred to a local realtor. Unfortunately for us, that realtor told us she would not show us any listings until we had a firm pre-approval from a lender. We ended up going to open houses on our own. Michelle Pike was the listing agent at an open house we attended. She was very welcoming and even though the house she was listing did not fit our needs, she offered to show us other houses that would work for us. We immediately fired our old realtor and started working with Michelle. She showed us a couple other listings but in the end, we went with new construction. Being first time homebuyers, we made it very clear to Michelle that we needed her to hold our hands throughout the entire process. She has been very consistent with delivering on her promises and always smiling with a very refreshingly pleasant disposition with each interaction. We are closing on our new house next month and so very lucky to have Michelle represent us during this process
